Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This is an English translation of the Bulgarian original. In case of any discrepancy, the Bulgarian version prevails.

1. General

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Paveta application (“Paveta”, the “App”) and the related web services.

Paveta is developed and provided by:

Ivo Ivanov Stoyanov, an individual established in Bulgaria
E-mail: paveta.app@gmail.com

2. What Paveta is

Paveta is an information app designed to give users information about the legislative process in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Paveta is an independent information project and is not a product, service, application or official representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.

3. Official sources

Paveta uses publicly available information from official sources, including the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria (parliament.bg) and the State Gazette (dv.parliament.bg).

Users should rely on the original official document as the authoritative source whenever they need accurate, complete or legally significant information.

4. Informational nature

The information in Paveta is provided for informational purposes only.

Paveta does not constitute legal advice, legal counsel, an official interpretation of any law, or the position of the National Assembly or any other state authority.

Using the information in Paveta does not replace reviewing the original legal act, the official documents, the stenographic records or other primary sources.

5. Accuracy, timeliness and completeness

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information in Paveta up to date and correctly presented.

The data is refreshed automatically approximately every 15 minutes, but this does not mean that every change in the official sources will be reflected immediately.

Automated extraction of information and document processing (including OCR of scanned documents) may lead to errors, omissions and delays. Therefore, Paveta does not guarantee that the information is always complete, accurate, up to date or free of technical errors.

The results of parliamentary votes, as well as other data about the legislative process (statuses, dates, sponsors, date of entry into force), are extracted automatically from public sources and may be inaccurate, incomplete or may not reflect the latest corrections. They are not an official record or official document of the National Assembly. The stenographic records, minutes and other official documents of the National Assembly are authoritative.

6. AI content

Part of the content in Paveta is generated or processed using artificial intelligence technologies.

AI-generated material is clearly labelled as such.

AI systems may make mistakes, inaccuracies or omissions, or misinterpret the text.

AI content does not constitute legal advice and should not be used as a substitute for the original official document or for professional legal advice.

In case of a discrepancy between an AI summary and the original document, the original official document prevails.

7. Using the app

Paveta can be used without creating a traditional user account.

When certain features are used, the app automatically uses a pseudonymous technical identifier provided by Firebase Anonymous Authentication.

The user may not:

8. Like / Dislike

For each bill in Paveta, “Like” and “Dislike” buttons are available, through which the user can express their personal attitude towards that bill.

Using these buttons does not require creating a traditional user account. For the technical operation of this feature, the vote is linked to a pseudonymous identifier, not directly to the user’s name or e-mail address.

The user can change or remove their choice using the functionality available in the app.

The app may display aggregated results of users’ choices, for example the total number of “Like” and “Dislike” votes.

The “Like” and “Dislike” results are intended solely to show how Paveta users feel about the respective bill. They are not an official public consultation, election, referendum, official vote or representative opinion poll, and should not be taken as a representative measure of public opinion.

9. Push notifications

Paveta may send push notifications about new bills, status changes and changes to saved bills.

The user can turn notifications off or manage their categories through the settings of the app and/or the operating system.

10. Questions and suggestions

Paveta may provide a form for sending questions and suggestions.

The user may provide a first name, last name, e-mail, the reason for the message and the message itself.

The user should provide only the information needed to handle their request, and should not send sensitive or confidential data where it is not necessary.

11. Voluntary financial support

Paveta contains a “Support us” button.

The button opens an external PayPal page.

Support is entirely voluntary.

The user can choose the amount of the support.

At present only one-time payments are supported, with no monthly or other automatically recurring subscription.

Voluntary support does not give any premium features, additional access or other privilege.

The recipient of the support is Ivo Ivanov Stoyanov.

Payments are made through PayPal and are also subject to PayPal’s applicable terms and policies.

Paveta does not process the user’s payment card or bank account details within the app itself.

12. External services and links

Paveta uses third-party services, including Firebase/Google Cloud, push notification services, OpenRouter and AI providers.

The app may contain links to external websites, including official government sources and PayPal.

Paveta does not control the content, security, accessibility or policies of external websites.

13. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the software, design, texts, graphic elements, the Paveta brand and other original materials created for Paveta are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Some components of Paveta are provided under open-source licenses. The respective license terms apply to them.

Nothing in these Terms grants the user the right to copy, reproduce, sell, license or distribute protected Paveta materials, except where permitted by law or by an applicable license.

14. Licenses of libraries used

The Montserrat font is by The Montserrat Project Authors and is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

15. Availability and changes

Paveta may be changed, updated, temporarily unavailable or discontinued in whole or in part.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paveta and its operator are not liable for damages or losses arising solely from:

This provision does not exclude liability in cases where such liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. Age

Paveta is intended for persons aged 16 or over.

By using the app, the user confirms that they meet this requirement.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary due to changes in the app, the services, the law or other circumstances.

The current version is published at:

19. Applicable law

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with applicable law.

Where the user benefits from mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of the country in which they usually reside, those rights are not limited by these Terms.
